Welcome to my favourite part of my website
I write books for all ages of reader - from picture books to teen novels.
But then I don’t have any age in mind when I am writing: I just write,
as well as I am able, whatever story has found its way into my head.
Also, I try never to write the same story twice, so – apologies – you
won’t know what to expect from one book to the next: different times
in the past, different parts of the world. All of them exciting, I hope.
I also do lots of retellings… because what’s the point in keep
inventing new stories when there are terrific ones already out there which
people have been enjoying for centuries but which are getting forgotten? Myths,
legends, folk and fairy stories, famous books (made easier)
So dive in and find something that takes your fancy. There are certainly plenty
of them, so there’s bound to be something to your taste.
